External Stucco Facades

Lime Plastering UK

Stucco facades are a part of mid 18th-19th century architecture popular in London and other major towns and cities throughout the country.

Stucco facades are either plain or elaborately ornamented with classical architectural elements ranging from crown cornice moulds, decorative friezes, classical architectural porticoes, pediments, ashlar blocked markings and rusticated or vermiculated blocked quoin stones.

We have been conserving, repairing and restoring a variety of classical and neoclassical facades throughout the country for over 35 years. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the materials and traditional craft techniques which are involved in the repair of Georgian, Regency and Victorian properties with Grade I, II and II* listed status.

All our moulded work is carried out in situ using traditional running moulds or produced in our workshop using a variety of reverse moulds to produce the desired enrichment or cast detail. We also use a variety of roman cements, natural cements and hydraulic limes to execute our work.

We have worked on some of London's finest Regency and Victorian town houses repairing Portland cement and Roman cement facades with classical detailing.
